Christmas, actually

It’s all Christmas, all the time here at Le Chateau Roberts. Today we made our first annual pilgramage to the Northshore Mall in Peabody so Ethan could have his picture taken with Albus Dumbledore Santa Claus and tell the jolly old elf what he wants for Christmas. We rehearsed it many times while waiting in line, and Ethan came through like a seasoned veteran.

Santa: “And what do you want for Christmas?”
Ethan: “Choo-choo.”
Me: “How do we ask nicely, Ethan?”
Ethan: “Peas!”

It was too cute. Hopefully Santa will come through for the little guy on Christmas. Ethan has been a very good boy this year.

In other news: Christmas cards are all mailed, shopping is about half done, and the tree looks spectacular. We just finished watching “Love, Actually,” and tomorrow we all head on over to Auntie Lisa’s for cookie decorating with the cousins.
