Feeding frenzy

There’s something primal about the theme music from Jaws. Whenever I can’t get Ethan to eat his veggies, all I need to do is start going, “Dah dun. Dah Dun. DAH DUN, DAH DUN, DAH-DUN-DAH-DUN-DAH-DUN!!!” while I bring the spoon in for the strike, and he opens his mouth wide as can be for me to stick the peas or carrots right in. It has a 90 percent success rate! I just hope I’m not doing any kind of longterm emotional damage. Hopefully he won’t develop a fear of seafood or, worse yet, John Williams music.
